Adams: We can field team against Burnley
Manager Micky Adams is confident that he can field a team against Burnley in the Capital One cup after the Football League approved Vale’s summer signings.
Adams told the Sentinel: “The Football League sent the contracts of those who agreed deals in the summer back to us because they had been agreed with Keith Ryder and obviously he is not recognised as somebody who runs the football club.
“Bob Young has now signed them on behalf of the club, and the Football League will accept them, so there’s no problem.
“If that wasn’t the case, we would have effectively been left with only a handful of players and wouldn’t have been able to fulfil our fixtures.”
