Vale hit five in second friendly game
Port Vale followed up their 8-0 victory at Alsager with a 5-0 win at Biddulph Town on Wednesday evening.

“Let’s not kid ourselves that we were playing Burnley,” manager Micky Adams told the Sentinel. “The standard of our opponents in these last two games hasn’t, with respect, been the very best.
“But I remember my first game in charge of Port Vale was against Biddulph, and we lost that 1-0.
“The attitude of the players and the way we go about our business has changed a lot since then, and we have been doing it right recently.”
