Ryder still waiting for Football League sign-off
The Sentinel reports that Vale’s long awaited takeover could suffer yet more delays after the Football League would not commit to ratifying Keith Ryder’s takeover of the club this week.
According to the newspaper, there has been no guarantee from the League that the deal will be rubber-stamped this week.
A League spokesman told the newspaper that they were examining the information provided by Ryder and the Vale administrators, but said: “Discussions remain ongoing at this time.”
Despite the wait, Vale have announced the signing of three new players, although the deals will not be formally completed until Ryder takes over the club.
The club have now passed on all required documentation including a covenant withthe city council over the use of Port Vale, proof of earnings, costings, cashflow forecasts and profit projections.

if ryder was an alleged foreign billionaire of a deposed prem league side the football league would have this sorted in 2 minutes . we are port vale though so ” sod them “, unless of course they are actually checking these forecasts as we speak and going through the deal with a fine tooth comb ?
