26 year-old goalkeeper Neal has made 64 appearances for Shrewsbury Town. He will undoubtedly replace Stuart Tomlinson as Vale’s first-choice goalkeeper.
Former Crewe defender Artell requires little introduction to Vale fans. The 31 year-old centre-half has made over 600 career appearances.
