Winger won't comment on Port Vale link
Former Port Vale loanee Jennison Myrie-Williams has refused to comment to the Sentinel newspaper when questioned about a possible move to Vale Park.
The 24 year-old increasingly looks to be the Vale’s number one target to replace the departed Sean Rigg on the wing, especially after Lionel Ainsworth, who had also been heavily linked with the Valiants, moved to rivals Rotherham United.
Myrie-Williams was one of eight players released by Stevenage last month. He joined the Valiants on loan in December 2011 and was a huge success.
Unfortunately, board mismanagement meant that finances were unavailable to increase Myrie-Williams stay at the club and he returned to his parent club in January.
The winger was contacted by the Sentinel on Monday and asked about rumours linking him to Vale, but the player would make no comment on the reports.
