Port Vale sign Kevin Gall on loan
Dean Glover has strengthened his squad ahead of the trip to Macclesfield with the signing of much travelled Carlisle striker Kevin Gall on loan.
Gall has signed on a month’s loan from Lincoln City after his agent, former Valiant Lee Matthews, recommended him to sign for the Vale.
The 26 year-old began his career as a trainee at Newcastle before moving to Bristol Rovers where he scored five goals in sixty games.
A move to Yeovil proved to the striker’s liking and he netted 29 times in 154 appearances during a three year stay at Huish Park.
In 2006, he moved to Carlisle where he found the net eleven times in 75 games. He has also had spells on loan at Darlington and Lincoln City although he failed to find the net on both occasions.
The striker told the official Port Vale website: “I am looking forward to being involved again. It has been a bit frustrating this season really and I am looking forward to being about again and getting games.
“There are quite a few games coming up and hopefully I will be involved, trying to help Port Vale win some games and get back on track.
“People say I am very quick and I hope to give an extra dimension to the Port Vale team and hopefully I can do well for the club.”
“It is a big club and they shouldn’t be where they are. I think if everybody digs in together we can turn it around.
“It is a good chance to get first team football again and I am excited about the chance to do so. I have heard good things about the manager and the lads. Lee Matthews looks after me and he has told be good things about the club. “
