Port Vale extend Togwell stay
Vale have boosted their midfield after agreeing to keep Crystal Palace starlet Sam Togwell until the end of the season.
After a slow start, Togwell has become increasingly influential after switching to his preferred midfield role. The 21 year-old has netted three times including a double against Doncaster in the third round of the FA Cup.
The news is a huge boost to Vale, although it remains very unlikely that the London-based midfielder will agree a permanent move to the Potteries.
Togwell has played twelve games for the Valiants, scoring three times since he initially joined the club in November 2005. He has had previous loan spells with Northampton and Oxford.
