Tommy Widdrington (Vale 1999-2001)
The veteran midfielder, former player of the year and club captain has been offered a new contract by Macclesfield boss Brian Horton, formerly Tommy’s manager at Vale Park.
Michael Twiss (Vale 200-2001)
Twiss who begun his career at Vale Park as a left-back has been a success playing upfront in the Conference. Despite 11 goals in 31 starts for Chester, Twiss was not offered a new deal and the former Manchester Utd youngster has agreed to join Morecambe on a three year contract.
Alan Lee (Vale loanee 1999)
The powerfully-built striker has been called up into the Irish side for the May 27th friendly with Romania. The Cardiff City star already has two full caps to his name.
Peter Clarke (Vale loanee 2003)
The hugely popular central defender has received a welcome boost to his Everton career. Clarke expected to be released at the end of this season, but in a surprise move, he has been offered a further one year deal.

John Durnin (Vale 2001-2003)
The veteran midfielder has been released from his contract at Accrington Stanley. The 39 year-old has played for eight league clubs and made over 400 appearances. It is not clear whether the former Liverpool and Portsmouth man will continue playing or move into coaching.
