By all accounts some Vale in Crewe end supporting them. Staggering.

First we have folk supporting an ( at the time relegation rival ) in Reading at Wigan. Now supporting Crewe.

Maybe I'm a dinosaur but this is all too nicey nicey for me.

I thought that when the players kneeled before matches and we're applauded.

Go woke you know the rest!!

I see KR put a Confused emoji to this.

He will have been confused by your statement ... 'I'm there for PVFC, nothing else'

His ulterior motive is exactly the opposite. Very sad individual.

Sad that you can't understand English... Read my posts and my reply to him.

Just listened to Crawleys manager .

He said he recruited players who play for the love of the game .

Had to change the mentality of just turning up for wages .

    So recruitment was spot on

Liam Kelly failure at Rochdale allegedly success at Crawley Orsi not wanted by Grimsby scored 25 goals I think I've read and big ones in semis and final

That's what sells not players  who just see it as a wage after all there doing something they love for money they ain't grafting for 160 hrs in a month doing 14 to 20 thousand steps a night loading wagons picking socks and Wellington boots and filling slots up with heavier than they should be boxes .

    Well Done Crawley

    Get another job!

Fury's recovery in the 9th round was almost as amazing as the 1st fight with Deontay Wilder, that last round recovery was beyond belief although the ref did give him a generous count.

Fair result for me but could have gone either way, the difference in most rounds was one or two punches.

Whatever boxing fans think about Fury he really is one of a kind, doesn't look like a boxer never mind an athlete, his "Herky jerky style" is unique and those legs look like they'd give way from a tap never mind a hard punch. Extraordinary.

To be honest plenty of fights have ended when the ref threw in the towel and that should have been the case end of round 8...Fury was gone

FFS, I’m 60. I go to support my team not look and shout at away fans. There’ll be teams near the top so they’ll bring a fair amount of fans and if we’re doing okay are fan base will increase I’m there for PVFC, nothing else.

I didn't say anything about shouting at Away supporters. You missed the point totally... Please read the post.

Let’s not rewrite history. Every single one of them were garbage. Some worse than others. Not one were worthy of a place in English league football.

Do you think they were worse than the present squad?

Ken, it could be that there’s a lack of atmosphere because of the dross we were unfortunate to witness on the pitch this season. Perhaps the club should hold a referendum of all Hamil ST holders and see if they’d prefer to return to the Bycars.?

Do you think the away supporters in League two will create more atmosphere in the Hamill!

    When is Christmas day ?

When is your wife's/husbands/ kids birthdays ?

When does the football season end and season tickets are announced?

    I'll leave it at that.

And there you have it!! 🙄

One of the actual good things v2001 did at the start was the DD scheme, for example you would start paying monthly now for the 2025/26 season over say 10mths .. i used to use that option and then it carried on like that, after time you didn't really miss it either as you were used to the payments coming out.

    Thank you!! 👍

Be amazed if anyone from that low down the pyramid would make the grade.

We might have had a guy called Burndred years ago who made at most a  couple of appearances from possibly Newcastle Town or he ended up there after us, but the gulf in class is massive.

John Burndred came from Knypersley Victoria.

Looked a proper team this season Oxford and played very well today.

They've got some cracking players.  Puts us to shame that given last season.

    Deserved it.

It just goes to show what little Port Vale could do if they had the drive and ambition

    We are where we are.

So, this week is the big fight. The one that was going to happen, then not going to happen, then was happening, then got called off and now is happening.

Smurf v Bratt, sorry, I mean Fury v Usyk in which is probably the biggest fight that's taken place in my lifetime.

I'm a massive fan of Usyk. He boxes smart and nothing fazes him. He does not really get caught up with all the b/s that leads up to fights either.

I back Usyk and hope he wins.

The Fury camp are arrogant and frankly full of morons and weapons.

There are a number of posters on this thread whose time would be better used by producing their business plan for the club and emailing it to Matt Hancock. Spouting stuff on here serves no actual purpose if they really think they know how to make a difference. And telling us it’s not their job is equally a waste of bandwidth.

The likely outcome would probably be that anybody who had the audacity to put their 'business plan' across, would be responded to by a telling off from the owner to not question the clubs operations.

After all we had 'That letter' from Carol over 'Flickers'!!
