  1. I pretty much agree with the list but I definitely wouldn't get rid of Smith.

The lad is a top end CB at L2 level and has a fantastic injury record - he's made of stern stuff he must have played with niggles a lot would have cried off with and probably to his own detriment - he's also been messed around positionally and asked to play out from the back which isn't his game. I would, however, take the armband off him and hand it to Garrity if he stays.

Probably controversial but I'd also keep Loft - I feel he could have the game for L2 providing we play to his strengths .. I'm not saying first name on the teamsheet but one of 4 strikers fighting for a place

It wouldn't surprise me to see Harratt return with the Moore connection & 1 other to go with Dipepa and Loft

  2. Cheltenham, Burton and ourselves have lost over half of games played this season and won 25% roughly panning out at a point a game.

It's possible, of course, but none are likely to suddenly string a load of wins together so it's whoever holds their nerve and edges a point or 2 more over the remaining games.

8-9 points probably edges us above the pair of them.

A very unlikely 4 wins would potentially see a higher finish than both Cambridge and Shrewsbury

4 wins is the only hope we have. I can see wins against Exeter and Cambridge on the last day of the season, but nobody wants to be going into the last day and wanting to win 7 nil to stay up.
Hopefully the woeful players in the squad have a release clause and we can rebuild. League 2 ready.

That's assuming Burton will get 11 points from 5 games and Cheltenham 13 points from 7 games

Don't think we need 12 points but if we got them we'd probably finish above Cambridge and Shrewsbury with 51 points

I'd be very surprised if 3 wins wasn't enough

I’ve never started a topic, but we need 11 points ( ask the great JR ) to stay in the league 1. 50 points is the holy grail. That means 4 wins in the last 7 games.
Not possible, unless we gain the form of the start of the season. Slag me off, but my small light of hope had been rekindled after back to back wins. Now it’s gone, the half time substitutes at Northampton goes to show that we have overpaid players that have games played in there contracts.
Conor grant has brought nothing to this club. Has a wide player he can’t cross, has a defender he can’t tackle. The same goes for Lionel ( Massey ) he’s now started playing better because his out of contract this summer (Thank the Lord ).
Conclusion, I will attend the final 3 home games, which includes travelling back from business to see the Wycombe game and buy my season ticket for next year.
I will always be there, my club will always be there. <ovf censored> players will come and go. Take the club to the grave!!!

We need to finish above Burton and Cheltenham unless the wheels come off Cambridge dragging them back in .. I'm not even going attempt predicting how many points that will be because as Cambridge have shown recently one minute you can look doomed and the next comfortable - At the minute you wonder whether Burton or Shrewsbury will win another game whilst Cambridge look like they will win a few but it's never going be without twists and turns.

We've just got keep chipping away.

If my memory serves me right last time I went Northampton you can buy tickets from a booth just outside away end .

We lost I think John Mccombe got sent off or he broke someone's leg anyway on first visit to six fields Richard's and Rigg scored and qe won 2-0 about 250 of us there

Enjoy we ain't conceded a away goal in 180 minutes and let's face it we seem like a different team in last 2 .

If Lincoln who as ordinary as ordinary can string together the run they have then Vale who are overall a much better side than them CAN (in my opinion).

I know the league table says different but if we stay up we will be above them next season along with many others.

For years I ain't seen a committed performance from ALL like Fri it took me back to the when Aspin played days where every player who donned the black and white put the pride in the shirt.

    Fri did SAME Again .

We lost that game 2 0 when McCoombe was sent off - Remember it well ambulance on the pitch for 10 minutes or so treating their player. If my memory serves me correctly Akinfenwa played for them that day.

More recently who could forget Covolan getting sent off on the opening day.

In my opinion she will stay on. Continue the infrastructure. Build relationships with other clubs even more. And leave this club in a good place off the field.

Ive never once called for her to sell up and anyone calling for that is a little bit silly.

My anger lies firmly with the footballing decisions of David Flitcroft.

Because of him we will be playing Newport next season instead of a potential potteries derby.

The clown still hasn’t got a free agent striker in.
If she isn’t done with him in the coming weeks, she is making the worst decision in her entire business life.

As I write this at 21hrs on 31st January, we've experienced yet another frustratingly disappointing transfer window (unless, of course, there's massive activity in the next 2 hours?!!)

What with the lack of replacement signings and our weighty list of injuries, we're competing in the next few games with a threadbare and imbalanced squad.  However understanding of DF's team I am trying to be and however optimistic I'm trying to remain, this next few games are going to test my patience and finger nails to the limit. Here's hoping!

    There's a day left yet

The farcical 2 club rule means (I think) that Scarlett can't be loaned out again - played for Spurs in the League Cup.

Spurs have cracking forward called Jamie Donley who reminds me of Wilson a bit.

Donley came on for Spurs at Man City in December

An unbelievably shocking read for me. Totally nailed the coffin shut for me that he has to go - doesn't have a clue what he's doing. Thinks football matches can be won with statistics.

    - says Clarke was sacked based on performances. Not on anything else

    - thought it was a good idea that despite the performances that the as. Manager and coaches should take over and things will be different?!?

    - seems to think Crosby is doing a good job and is invested in the long term (I don't think he would sack AC if we lost tomorrow)

    - thinks AC was the one to bring Plant into the first team - Clarke gave him his debut two games before AC.

He has to go, enough is enough.

He said Clarke was sacked because players had downed tools

  10. I've listened to the pod and I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought the 2 lads Jonny and Tom did well. Let's not forget these lads volunteer their time and for some fans out there it really is the highlight of their week. I say keep up the good work fellas - I doth my cap!

  11. Tough balancing act for the club and I believe it's not totally their call with prices agreed between both clubs and the FA - it would have been a damn site more expensive for us all if we'd been drawn away at Chelsea

Seems reasonable charging normal matchday price to me but it's a shame all kids are banded as U16 and there's not a cheaper price for younger kids
