Port Vale FC come in ninth place in League Two agent fees after paying £46,319 to agents during the last two transfer windows.The latest FA report covers the period February 2020 to February 2021 – the last two transfer windows. During that period the Valiants brought in ten permanent signings and three loanees.
As far as the division goes, it is no surprise that big spending Salford top the list but perhaps more telling is that promotion chasing Tranmere Rovers and Cambridge United both come towards the bottom of the spending table.

It is an absolute liberty that clubs such as Vale have to pay players agent’s fees. So annoying that season ticket money is in effect paid to people who only have one interest in football and that is to make themselves a bit of bunce for doing next to nothing for the game.
