Port Vale have confirmed that striker Jordan Archer will join National League side Stockport County on loan for a month.
The former Bury forward joined the Valiants in September 2019 and made a goalscoring debut in the Football League Trophy clash against Shrewsbury Town. However, his spell at the club has been disrupted by injuries with Archer makign just eight appearances so far.
The Vale clearly think a run of first-team football will benefit the 26 year-old who will play under former Port Vale manager Jim Gannon, now manager of Stockport.
County were promoted to the National League last season and currently lie in eighth place in the table.
