I keep asking myself why Smurf wants to stay what is his long term aim . He is ovibiously a good businessman but doesn’t understand how to run a football club . He likes football but are Vale second best to Coventry which he would love to buy but cannot a ford it.

I do hope that Mr Smurfthwaite and all of the 3 or 4 people who think he is doing a wonderful job for Port Vale’s future attend the match against Morecambe.
It will enable him to appreciate how genuine Vale fans view his statements and actions, and perhaps he may take notice and act in an honourable way.

Unlikely, I know, but we are told to be positive, so let all those who care for Port Vale protest in a peaceful but very loud and noticeable fashion that cannot be ignored.

There are at least 400,000 good reasons for doing so – and that is just from this January 2019 and the transfer window, never mind the failed promises and damaging misjudgement that went before.
