Port Vale have officially confirmed the loan move of striker Tyrone Barnett to Cheltenham Town.
Barnett was transfer-listed in the summer and Neil Aspin praised his attitude in pre-season training. However, the manager said that only clubs of National League North standard had expressed any interest in signing the player during the summer. Barnett signed a two-year deal in 2017 but managed just two goals in 28 games last season.
A club statement said:
Port Vale striker Tyrone Barnett has joined fellow League Two side Cheltenham Town on loan, until January 2019.
The club would like to wish Tyrone the best of luck during his spell at The Robins.
