Former Port Vale striking duo signed by Nantwich

Nantwich Town have announced the signings of Danny Glover and James Lawrie.

The duo progressed through the youth ranks to make the senior team with Lawrie also picking up a solitary cap for Northern Ireland in the process.

28 year-old Glover made 46 appearances, scoring four times, 27 year-old Lawrie made 30 appearances, scoring two goals.

The forwards both left the Valiants in 2011 and dropped into non-league football.
