Influential midfielder Anthony Grant is set to return from injury against Peterborough United on Saturday.
Grant missed Vale’s 4-1 defeat to Bury and manager Bruno Ribeiro said: “It’s his hamstring but I think next week he will be okay.”
“We saw when he didn’t play that it was difficult in the middle. He, Paulo and Sam Foley are very strong for us.”
