League Two side Notts County have confirmed the signing of former Vale captain Carl Dickinson.
Dickinson will join Richard Duffy at the club.
The Nottingham-born player turned down a new contract offer from Vale this summer and he told the official County website: “I’m really looking forward to it and can’t wait to get going.
“I’m a leader, I like to be loud in the dressing room and get the lads going.
“I’m going to show people I’m a good defender – I don’t mind dishing it out a little bit, I’m hard working, wear my heart on my sleeve and give everything, day in, day out.”
