Goalkeeper Sam Johnson has extended his loan at National League side FC Halifax Town until the end of January.
Manager Rob Page told the official Port Vale website: “He has done brilliant. I don’t think they had a clean sheet in two months and then he goes in and they had two, back to back.
“He is enjoying his football and he is a different person. You work hard all week, and they do work hard with Timmo
“I think you need that carrot on a Saturday to go and get your rewards to go and play. It has been frustrating for him, and he has grabbed it with both hands.”
