Norman Smurthwaite has tweeted about Vale’s defeat to Crawley and warned players that they are playing for their futures.
Vale slumped to a disappointing 2-3 defeat to Crawley on Tuesday.
Vale owner Smurthwaite was clearly furious with the display the players had produced and assured those who were below-par that they had done little to persuade him they were worthy of new contracts.
