Port Vale have confirmed that Paul Marshall (pictured) and Chris Shuker have signed non-contract deals until the end of the season.
29 year-old winger Shuker has featured many times against the Valiants, chiefly for Barnsley and Tranmere and has made over 250 league appearances.
His last Football League club was Morecambe from whom he was released in 2011.
Midfielder Marshall has joined the Valiants for a second spell, three years after he spent a spell on loan at Vale Park.
The 22 year-old had drifted into non-league circles after starting his career at Manchester City.
The duo are both eligible for selection for Tuesday night’s game against Bradford City.
The six foot tall midfielder had a spell at Blackpool before joined Vale on loan in 2009 and making thirteen appearances, scoring once.
He then had a loan spell at Aberdeen before joining Walsall on a free transfer in 2010. His most recent Football League experience was a brief spell with Rochdale in 2011.
