Port Vale manager Jon Brady says the club has “some players to move out” during the summer transfer window.
Speaking after Port Vale’s 1-0 friendly win over Real Murcia Brady told the media team: “We’ve got some players to move out and they’ve been told. You can see with the group that’s here it’s the group we’re working with at the moment. We’re looking at a squad (numbering) around 23-24 with the young lads on top if they can come up to the level.”
If players have been “told” than two likely departures would be transfer-listed duo Marko Marosi and Rico Richards. Meanwhile, there has been speculation about centre-forward Jayden Stockley, who has been subject of transfer gossip and not involved in the club’s friendly programme so far. Several of the club’s younger players – such as Jack Shorrock may also make loan moves.
The Valiants have made substantial changes to their squad this season. Transfer-listed duo Ruari Paton and Jordan Shipley have departed and nine have arrived, including three loanees.
