Current skipper Kyle John now tops our star performer leaderboard after some impressive displays during a busy period of fixtures for Port Vale.
Between the 10th February and 14th March, Vale played nine games and during that period John picked up three star man awards as did striker Ben Waine. The other star man awards went to Joe Gauci (2) and Jayden Stockley.
It means John now has eight star man awards and is joint-top alongside Ruari Paton. Gauci’s awards mean he is joint-third alongside Funso Ojo and George Hall.

About these awards
After every first-team game, there will be an opportunity to rate every Vale player out of ten. We check the results after 48 hours and the player (or players) with the highest rating is named our star man. In addition, we will produce the average marks for every player at the end of the season.
