Port Vale manager Jon Brady says the side “needs help” as he looks to add some new players to his squad.
Brady told the media that he did not plan to lose striker Devante Cole, who left to join Luton Town but it was apparent that the striker did not want to play for the Valiants anymore. The late move means a new forward becomes a key priority.
We had to make sure we got the best deal possible for us. Simple as that. I want everyone that wants to be here first and foremost…
Explaining the Cole move, the manager told the media: “When the player’s head was completely turned and wanted to go there, we had to make sure we got the best deal possible for us. Simple as that. I want everyone that wants to be here first and foremost.”
He added: “At the moment I only have two strikers available really. Right now in the window we obviously need support with that but with Devante going we have been left in a situation where it is really late in the window and we need help on that.”
However, Brady is confident that he has the full support of the club’s hierarchy in strengthening the team adding: “We are aligned and we are talking as recruitment and coaching staff and right up above with Carol and Matt. We are very aligned and all working together to try to help this situation.”

Let’s Build on this and continue to Win Ugly.
Why is every transfer “undisclosed ” Carol said she would be open and honest.
From the grapevine Vale may of signed fullback Elijah Campbell from Everton
Cole didn’t want to play for Vale anymore, that’s because they get slagged off by so called supporters instead of encouragement of support
A big pat on the back completely against my expectations with a well earned victory at Leyton Orient (1953 comes to mind )like the cut of the manager’s jib with his no nonsense approach to who does & doesn’t want to play for Vale hope the likes of Shorrock get a look in because under previous set up a young man’s carrier was being ruined once again thanks for making me look a fool hopefully onwards & upwards UTV
