Port Vale manager says Ben Waine is getting his “just rewards” after “working hard” to win a starting place in the team.
Waine had three months without a first-team appearance but since his recall he has now hit three goals in three games.
Moore told BBC Radio Stoke: “He came to the football club and it probably didn’t go as well in the first couple of weeks, but what people won’t see is the work he’s done behind the scenes to get himself back into it,”
The manager is delighted with the forward’s scoring spell adding: “We’re so pleased for him because he epitomises any player that’s not been in our team. He’s showcased that it’s about working hard and getting the just rewards, and he’s certainly getting them at the moment.”
Waine is expected to keep his place for the crucial home game against Peterborough United on Saturday.
