The Vale Park playing surface has failed a pitch inspection causing Tuesday evening’s League One fixture with Bradford City to be called off.
The club announced:
Following a pitch inspection, the Vale Park playing surface has been deemed unplayable by the match official due to large amounts of standing water.
This evening’s match against Bradford City has been postponed.
Further information regarding a new date and tickets will be available in due course.

It must be annoying to have the game against Bradford with how much was spent on a new pitch and drainage. it’s also sad that vales mini improvement in for has to be postponed here’s hoping we can carry on the revival on Saturday
