A brief report as the Valiants are held to a goalless draw in the first friendly game of the summer.
Vale, who played a trialist in goal for the whole 90 minutes were unable to start their summer campaign with a win. A largely uneventful first-half saw chances for Tolaj and Richards. In the second period, both sides hit the woodwork as it finished goalless.
