Port Vale have announced that left wingback Conor Grant has left the club after a mutual termination of his contract.
The move enables Grant to find a new club after the transfer deadline as he will be a free agent.
Grant’s move to Vale Park was hailed as a coup at the time but his move has been sadly noticeable for his time on the sidelines with injury. He made 44 appearances in a Port Vale shirt but was arguably behind Jaheim Headley, Sam Hart, Kyle John and Jack Shorrock for the left wingback position.
A Port Vale statement said: “Everybody here at Vale Park would like to thank Conor for his time with the Valiants and wish him every success in his future career.”

See we have signed a teenager on loan from Wolves for what reason, certainly not first team football unless he is as good as Arblaster was last season. Ripley gone to Swindon a side we are playing Saturday . Clueless Moore, just lucky and backed by a clueless chairwoman.
Sorry to see Connor Grant leave i wish him all the very best lovely guy.
We are delighted to have signed Connor. He seems to be good and experienced. We have a couple of young and promising keepers here, but are not good enough to be in the first team on a regular basis just yet. Welcome Connor and thanks Port Vale for such a good keeper.
