Benicio ends Port Vale loan spell

Port Vale’s on-loan winger Benicio Baker-Boaitey has returned to Brighton following a five-month stay with the Valiants.

After a bright start, he was limited to 14 appearances in all competitions, most of them from the bench. He has also been out injured for the past month.

Port Vale manager Darren Moore said: “He leaves the club with nothing but the very best wishes from everybody here. He has showcased wonderful ability to get supporters off their seat and to be a real game changer when on his game.”
