Darren Moore hints that Sam Hart is close to a playing return

Port Vale manager Darren Moore says that a trio of injured players are close to a return, including left wingback Sam Hart.

Hart has been out since late August after joining the Valiants in the summer.

Vale luckily have a wealth of options at left wingback with Jack Shorrock and Conor Grant currently battling it out while Mitch Clark, Kyle John and Hart remain on the sidelines. However, Hart is set to return soon with John also not too far away.

Moore told the media: “Harty is back in training which is great, Kyle John should be coming back soon, George Byers as well.

“So you are talking the boys like that at a crucial time. After next week we have another three-game week with Gillingham, Wrexham and Morecambe so you want your squad back. The medical department is working extremely hard with them but there are some positive signs with all three of those which is great.”
