Port Vale have confirmed that defender Dan Jones has joined National League side Gateshead on loan until the New Year.
Jones, whose spell at Vale Park has been badly disrupted by injury has not featured for the first-team this season.
He has made a total of 71 appearances for the club since joining in the summer of 2021.
A club statement said:
Port Vale can confirm that defender, Dan Jones, has joined Gateshead on a loan deal until January 2025.
The 29-year-old – who moved to Vale Park from Salford City in 2021 – will link up with the Vanarama National League side until the turn of the year.
A regular feature during our promotion-winning season in 2021/2022, Jones penned a two-year extension to his Vale contract in 2023.
