Finn Ashworth player profile

The teenage Aston Villa midfielder joined Port Vale on loan on transfer deadline day January 2025.

Manager, Darren Moore, said: “Finn is a talented young midfield player who’s really caught the eye and we’re grateful to Wolves for allowing us to continue his development here at Vale Park.

“It isn’t a case of putting him straight into the action; we will give him the time he needs to settle in and hopefully he can play his part for us as we get towards the business end of the season.

“I’m sure he will benefit from being in and around the first-team environment and we’re all looking forward to welcoming him in over the coming weeks.”

However, the player failed to make a senior squad during his loan spell and duly returned without making a senior appearance for the side.
