A football rumours Twitter account claims that Port Vale are interested in signing a former Queens Park Rangers midfielder.
The account @EFLHub says Vale are interested in signing Stephen Duke-McKenna.
The 23 year-old midfielder was released by QPR at the end of the season. The Guyana International made six appearances for his parent club as well as loan spells with Hemel Hempstead Town, Torquay United, Leyton Orient and Sutton United.
His last loan spell saw him score twice in sixteen games for Sutton. In total he has made 56 appearances, scoring five goals. He has also made 18 appearances for his country, scoring once.
However, rumours on Twitter often have to be taken with a large pinch of salt as the majority turn out not to be true.

A big summer for Port Vale?
Our dedicated section contains confirmed moves in and out of the club in the summer of 2024 as well as unsubstantiated transfer rumours.

Any strikers signing anytime soon? Or anyone……
56 appearances…5 goals…thats awful.
Let’s hope for someone with better Stats than this..♀️
Why is there no news about vale in the sentinel or anywhere else it seems as if we are secret society.
The owners should be more upfront about what is happening.
