Would there be tickets for Newcastle Town and Leek Town friendlies if so how much would the tickets cost for each game
Hi Luke, I think you’d need to speak to the clubs (i.e. Newcastle and Leek) to find out as the tickets/prices etc are being processed by them. Hope that helps.
At the recent forum at which Mr Moore and Mr Hancock were in attendance a question was asked about our coming preseason preparations. Mr Moore asked about last season’s preparations, when he was told fans thought it was quite poor and in fact we had not played any home friendly matches, he seemed surprised and a little mocking of the previous management team. Mr Moore then went on to announce he had already arranged a number of games that would test the squad, and he was still waiting on two high profile clubs to confirm for two home games. To play Kidsgrove, Newcastle Town and Leek on a plastic pitch is no better than what we usually play, and suggest these fixtures are basically set in stone and have nothing to do with Mr Moores personal choice. As for the high profile clubs who Mr Moore suggested he was waiting on as they were still involved in promotion and relegation battles, as they have still not committed one must presume that they are still involved in these battles which only leaves Premiership teams and clubs still involved in playoff matches. Manchester City and Arsenal’s first X1 will do very nicely, and why Mr Hancock didn’t explain to Mr Moore the reason why we failed to play any home friendly games last season, (because of pitch improvements wouldn’t allow it) I don’t know ? To me nothing has changed and they talk to fans as if they are thick!
We need some Meaningful Pre-season warm up games to get us ready for the Real work next season.
