Port Vale added Leicester City player Brandon Cover as their second loan signing of the summer of the 2024.

The versatile 20 year-old has a full Jamaican International cap and can play in a variety of positions.

Port Vale Manager, Darren Moore, said of the move:  “I am delighted to welcome Brandon to Vale Park. It’s a deal that’s been a few weeks in the making and I am excited to finally get it over the line.

“He is a versatile, combative player who also enjoys getting on the ball and I’m sure he will be a real asset for us as the season progresses.

“Brandon also has a brilliant mindset and wants to use this opportunity to better himself both on and off the pitch and we are all looking forward to working closely with him to help him achieve just that.”

Cover went straight into the starting eleven and impressed as right wingback including scoring the winning goal in a 2-1 win over Swindon. He returned to his parent club in January 2025 after first-choice right-back Mitch Clark returned to fitness.
