Striker Josh Thomas played the entire ninety minutes of Wales U21 European Qualifier against the Czech Republic on Friday night.
The match ended 1-1 and although Thomas didn’t get on the scoresheet, he troubled Czech keeper Lukas Hornieck on a number of occasions.
It was Thomas’ seventh Wales U21 cap and he’s also scored twice for the U21 side.
The 21 year-old Swansea striker joined the Valiants on a season-long loan in August and he has scored twice in twelve appearances for the Vale side.
Cian Ashford was the Welsh hero on the night – his late 96th minute equaliser cancelling our Matej Jurasek’s opener for the hosts.
The Welsh U21 side is next in action in mid-November when they play another qualifier – this time against Iceland.
