Frozen pitch puts paid to Port Vale’s game against Accrington

Port Vale’s home game against Accrington Stanley on Saturday has been postponed due a frozen pitch.

An early pitch inspection took place on Friday afternoon and the club confirmed the cancellation via social media:

 

The Vale’s next game, weather permitting, will be Tuesday night’s Football League Trophy clash against Salford City.
