Bristol Rovers supporters have planned a touching tribute to Darrell Clarke’s late daughter Elle during Saturday’s League One game.
Clarke’s 18 year-old daughter tragically passed away earlier this year and the Valiants boss missed a portion of last season after receiving the shocking news.
The Port Vale manager is held in high regard by Rovers fans and they plan to show solidarity with a minute’s applause in the 18th minute.
It’s certainly a lovely gesture by the home fans and one which has received the backing of Port Vale supporters on social media.
Clarke has cemented legendary status in BS7 after masterminding an iconic period in the club’s recent history, leading the club from non-league to League One with back-to-back promotions in 2015 and 2016.
