Connor Hall player profile:
Following the sale of Ryan Johnson to Stockport County, Port Vale paid an undisclosed fee to bring in Connor Hall from Harrogate Town. Veteran defender Leon Legge moved in the other direction as he departed Vale Park for Harrogate.
Left-sided Hall stands six foot four inches tall and has made over fifty appearances in the Football League after he guided Town into League Two by scoring in their National League play-off final win.
He made his Port Vale debut in a 3-1 home loss against Swindon Town in January 2022. He scored his first goal for the club in a 4-1 win over Crawley Town in March 2022.
Popular with the fans and a regular in the defence, Hall helped the side to promotion to League One through the play-offs. He featured less frequently in the 2022-23 League One campaign and seeking an easier commute from Cambridge, he moved on to Colchester United for an undisclosed fee in January 2023.
However, Hall was much missed and returned to the Vale for a second spell in July 2024. The return was a great success as Hall was a near ever-present as the club celebrated the defender’s second promotion in three Port Vale seasons. He was also a regular pick during the 2025-26 season.
