A series of tweets from the Port Vale Twitter account to mark World Suicide Prevention Day have moved supporters as club officials shared their experience of losing a loved one to suicide.
The tweets are from Director of Football David Flitcroft, CEO Colin Garlick and former player Adam Yates.
Fans have reacted to the tweets on the OVF forum with two supporters commenting “What an immense amount of bravery that video today took” and “incredibly candid and powerful videos.”

Earlier this year, Adam Yates lost one of his close friends and former team mates, Lee Collins.

Colin Garlick's grandson took his own life at the age of 21.
