Port Vale have confirmed the signing of Luton Town youngster Oliver Lynch on a season-long loan.
The Valiants also loaned Ethon Archer from the Hatters last season. Lynch is the club’s second loan addition following the arrival of goalkeeper Mason Terry earlier this week.
According to the official Luton Town website, Lynch is a “traditional old-school centre-forward” and a “lifelong Hatters fan.” He signed a new contract with his parent club in January 2025.
The then Luton manager Matt Bloomfield commented at the time: “I’ve been really impressed with Oli since we came in. He’s trained with the first team group and never looked out of place. His attitude is first class and as he’s shown in his loan spell at Hemel Hempstead, he knows where the back of the net is.”
Academy manager Paul Benson added: “Lynchy has a perfect profile for a modern-day number nine. He ticks all the boxes and everything you look for in a centre forward.”
