The wingback is sadly injured at the moment but has impressed when he’s been available for the Valiants, he’s made eight appearances so far this season and scoring once.

About the sponsorship

The home and away kit sponsorship is a group effort with dozens of Vale fans contributing. Gabriel was a runaway winner when contributors were asked which player to sponsor this season. This is the latest kit sponsorship by OVF continuing our commitment to bringing money into the club. In previous years, OVF has sponsored the likes of Lucas Covolan, Ellis Harrison and Jason Lowe. OVF would like to thank every supporter who has contributed to the player sponsorship this season.

About OVF’s financial commitment to the club

We are an totally independent site with no connection to the supporters club nor the football club itself. OVF feels that independence not only puts us in a position where we can praise and help the club when appropriate,  but also means we can reserve the right for constructive criticism when it is required. Nevertheless, we also like to financially support the club when we can.

Over the thirty years OVF has been in existence we have contributed tens of thousands of pounds to the football club. This has been mainly due to the efforts of Barry Edge who organised all the competitions on here. The total includes over £15,000 in player and match sponsorships and over £21,000 in competition prizes for Barry’s popular competitions.

We also arranged three match-day visits by former Vale legends – Andy Jones, Darren Hughes and Peter Swan as well as the well received 2014 Vale Vaults exhibition held at Barewall gallery and curated by OVF editor Rob Fielding.
