Plant suffers poor Yeovil run
Youngster James Plant is now five games into his latest loan spell with National League side Yeovil – and it’s not been a painless experience. Town have won just one of those games. It resulted in the sacking of manager Mark Cooper. They suffered a 3-1 home loss to York City at the weekend.
Rico awaiting first start
Midfielder Rico Richards missed out on Walsall’s squad for their game against Chesterfield at the weekend. The attacking midfielder joined the Saddlers on loan for the season on deadline day.
Hart also awaiting debut
The International break means that left wingback Sam Hart is yet to make his debut for Scottish Premiership side St Mirren. Hart joined on a season-long loan earlier this month.
Davies misses out
Goalkeeper Arron Davies missed Stafford Rangers’ 1-0 win over Boldmere St Michaels due to his suspension. The keeper was sent-off during Rangers’ loss to Lower Breck.
Duo play as Kidsgrove exit the FA Trophy
Vale youngsters Zayn Sadiq and Logan Cousins both started as Kidsgrove lost 3-2 to Sutton Coldfield in the FA Trophy.
