Trialist Brad Foster, who started the last two Port Vale friendly games, has agreed a move to Scottish side Ross County.
The move is perhaps no great surprise after the Valiants announced the signing of Marko Maroši earlier this month. Maroši’s signing means Vale now have three professional keepers in Ben Amos, Maroši and youngster Arron Davies.
Foster played the friendly games as Amos was recovering from injury but has now been announced as Ross County’s latest signing, agreeing a two-year deal.
County manager Don Cowie told the media: “With Jordan (Amissah) leaving the club recently we have reacted quickly to replace him and we are delighted Brad has put pen-to-paper. Brad arrives at a good age with a fantastic physical profile.
“He is hungry to make an impression at the club and will provide great competition with Ross Laidlaw for us this season.”

The Valiants also have 24 year-old Dutch forward Nino Noordanus on trial although his future may also be in doubt after the Vale signed another striker – Ben Waine – on a permanent basis.
