Port Vale FC have confirmed the make-up of their backroom team following the departures of Lee Bradbury and Wayne Jacobs in the summer.
Bradbury left to take up a role as manager of Dagenham and Redbridge while Jacob is sadly suffering health problems.
Wolves right-back Jamie Smith, who was assistant to Moore at Doncaster Rovers will be lead coach. Former Huddersfield Town midfielder Simon Ireland, who has worked with Moore at Sheffield Wednesday, and Martin Devaney, who was previously a coach at Barnsley, are also in coaching roles.
Gary Walsh remains as goalkeeping coach, with Mike Hine as head of medical and James Walsh as head of physical.
Darren Moore commented “I’m really pleased that we’ve been able to assemble such a high-quality team of coaches as we prepare for our return to League One. Those who were with us last year played a massive part in helping us achieve promotion, and we’re delighted to welcome Martin to the club, as another top coach who will bring various qualities to the group.”
