The identity of Port Vale’s two trialists has been revealed – although extensive social media speculation may have informed many fans already.
Goalkeeper on trial – Brad Foster

The former Stoke City player was born in Stafford and was most recently on Wrexham’s books. Foster is six foot four inches tall and aged 23 years of age. He is having a run of starts during the friendly games in part due to an injury to first choice keeper Ben Amos. Manager Darren Moore told the Valiant newsletter: “It is timely with not having Ben (Amos) so we have been able to put him in for both games to look at his fitness and everything else. As you can see, he has wonderful size and structure to him. He is another who we have given a couple of weeks to have a real good look at.”
Forward on trial – Nino Noordanus

The 24 year-old Dutchman found the net in the 7-0 win over Kidsgrove Athletic. He has most recently been playing for NK Celje of Slovenia. Darren Moore told the Valiants newsletter: “He’s come in through a contact of mine. It allows us to have a good look at him over the next couple of weeks. He hasn’t done himself any harm today. He scored and, as you have seen, he has had a couple of chances in both games. He’s worked well and that will settle him down.”
