A shame that Chizzy is leaving the club as he seem to be settled in. The manager didn’t half mess him about who seems to be short of certain skills regarding to man management. Still not sure about him being in charge of Vale till the end of his contract. This coming season will tell us if he is still the right man for the job.

I knew he wasn’t the managers choice, from day one, myself. I thought he was worth keeping, only time Will tell,if he comes back to haunt us,,,anyway Good luck, where ever you end up

It makes me wonder what else went on behind the scenes, who else threw their toys out of their pram, and yes we will find out after about 10 games if Mr Moore is the right manager for Vale.

The manager has it spot on with Chislet, the player undoubtedly has potential, however, most of the time he was on the pitch, he was on his backside trying to buy a foul(cheat I think is the word), other clubs have players of a similar ilk, but most referees seem to have worked him out. Good luck and thanks

Very disappointing exit. He was a talented player and 15 goals in 82 games is a good return. Seems stupid to have turned down an offer for him given he wasn’t used for the rest of the season.

Chizzy never let the Vale down, and yes a disappointing end to his PVFC journey.
But football is a challenge as a career, ups and downs are the norm,.
Chizz has had interest from clubs this season so I’ll be pleased to see him settled, best wishes EC.

It’s sad, he wasn’t a fans favourite for nothing. Add to this the ridiculous treatment of Nathan Smith and Moore will be in for a bumpy ride if Vale don’t have a good season.

Difficult to make sense this situation, both from Chislett’s viewpoint and the club’s. Deliberately excluded from the starting lineup, refused a transfer (presumably with a fee) in the January window, then released for nothing at the end of the season as a free agent. Must be more to this, but as stands the club has lost or ousted a very talented and creative player. Does that mean that Moore has someone better lined up ?

So sad ethan chizzy has been released ill really miss him he never let vale down played with heart and skill of a player one devision higher than port vale on this I think moore as made a very big mistake letting him go moore for me is a lower league manager and I think vale will find it hard in division 1 this season with moore in charge I think vale will go down with this manager

He may have been talented but in the end the Vale got promoted without him .That’s fact and still fans are on the managers back. We’ve all got opinions but some just constantly moan .
