Port Vale’s game against Barrow is postponed

Port Vale FC have announced that Saturday’s home match against Barrow has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The club announced:

We can confirm that tomorrow’s Sky Bet League Two match with Barrow AFC has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The club have been working hard to get the game on with volunteers across all departments helping to remove snow but with consistent below freezing temperatures, the playing surface has been deemed unplayable by an official.

Information regarding the rearranged fixture will be available in due course.
