“Please come, help us, we need you” – Darren Moore’s “personal message” to Port Vale fans
Port Vale manager Darren Moore has issued an emotional plea for fans to continue to back the relegation-threatened side. Moore told supporters that Port Vale is “your club” and to “do it for the badge.”
Please come, help us, we need you and do it, more than anything, for the badge. You’ve supported this football club through years, though generations, through the family… Do it for the badge…
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Moore told the media: “I’ve visited here as an opposition manager and a player and when this place is in full voice, it’s a fantastic arena and a stadium to be in.
“(My message) to the Vale fans is you’ve been magnificent and you’ve been absolutely superb since I’ve arrived at the football club. I thank them all personally for the reception that they’ve given me and the support that they’ve given me.
This is a personal message to all of them. Please come, help us, we need you and do it, more than anything, for the badge. You’ve supported this football club through years, though generations, through the family… Do it for the badge.
“The club needs you and you’ve been there through thick and thin…. I’ve said to the players that the one consistency is that the Vale fans will turn up and it’s their club and they’re passionate. What we (the team) have got to do is match that energy that’s in the stadium and match it on the pitch.”

Dear Mr Moore . The Vale fans have supported the port vale players and the club . The Vale fans Have a brilliant travelling away support and at home . The fans Love the club and the vale badge . But it’s a shame that some of the players just come across as if they don’t care . If the vale players felt the way as the fan’s Loyalty to vale would be at the top of the League. It’s about time the vale players give the vale fans something to cheer about . Yes I will be there on Saturday .

How can Carol allow Flitcroft to have so much control in Port Vale F.C. He caused untold damage at Bury F.C and look where they are now.

Sorry as I’ve said before, Sharon and especially Jonah Flitcroft have both kicked us in the teeth, telling us this is Port Vale F.C. well we see it as a training ground for higher clubs to send their players to learn there trade at our expense, we have had enough of the owner who does not speak to the fans but instead writes a letter telling us how good Jonah Flitcroft is,then gives a manager who has won 3 games in 20+ games a 5 1/2 year contract, wow why didn’t I think of that, with Flitcroft running things Vale will not be there in 2 years

Hope Moore tell the players to give it all for the badge. I have attended every home fixture league and Cup and the odd away game. The vale fans giving it there all is not the issues we will back the club up and down. Instead of we need ur help rubbish bring in a much needed strike in filtcofts pod cast he stated we where looking at 5 foreign player who where out of contract and yet still as of the 8th of March we have on injury prone striker one out injured and an academy striker at the club. We don’t score enough and we can’t defend. Filtcroft out
