“Great news!” – Darren Moore gives comeback update on potentially crucial Port Vale player
Port Vale manager Darren Moore has given an update on injured forward Uche Ikpeazu who has been ruled out of action since sustaining a shoulder in late January.
Ikpeazu’s injury was a huge blow to the Valiants, who were already low on forward numbers while the powerful forward had been building up a good run of form prior to his knock. Ikpeazu’s absence has been keenly felt especially as the Valiants failed to add any strikers to their squad over the January window.
We expect him to be back with the group really soon, that’s great news…
However, Moore says Ikpeazu is now back in light training and could be back in contention soon. He told the media: “Uche is back in light training, back on the grass doing some ball work.
“It is great to have the big man back, great to be able to see him. So, we expect him to be back with the group really soon, that’s great news.”
There is also promising news on Mitch Clark. The full-back had returned to the squad after injury only to suffer a further setback. However, Moore said: “Mitch Clark is back training and we really hope that over these next few days he doesn’t have any reaction to his injury. It’s great to have him back.”
However, the news on loanee Dan Gore is less promising. The Manchester United youngster has been missing since making his debut in a game against Portsmouth. It appears Gore is still some way away with Moore commenting: “Dan Gore is not back on the training ground with us as yet, so his set back was more damaging than we thought. But he is working his way back and we still hope, and he is very hopeful, that he is going to play some part for us this season.”

Until and unless we get rid of the Director of Football and the Chair who slavishly supports him…we will not survive,,
Both directors have failed the Club….Both for non performance of their duties and especially the Chair for failing to apply due diligence to the appointments of DoF and Manager
Please do the decent thing and resign
