Port Vale loanee could play an International match on Tuesday evening
Port Vale’s on loan striker Mipo Odubeko could start for the Republic of Ireland U21 side as they take on Israel on Tuesday evening.
The two sides meet in an Under-21 European Championships 2023 qualifier.
Odubeko, who was left out of the Valiants squad for the game against Peterborough at the weekend, was named in the Irish U21 squad and could make his fifth appearance at U21 level.
The 19 year-old qualifies to play for Ireland as he was born in Dublin. He has scored once for the U21 side – in a 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovinia back in June.
The West Ham forward has also played four times for the Valiants, scoring once.
